Howard Globus

Security Evangelist & Partner

Howard Globus has more than twenty years of experience designing, installing and supporting Windows server and workstation products in industries where security and reliability are critical. System engineering and administration experience includes customized Windows Server and Workstation installs, designed to be deployed using the latest automated technology available and managed using products found onsite at most Fortune 500 firms to ensure a wide variety of potential personnel to support the products in the future.

Prior to founding IT-On-Demand with Oren Kalb, he established GEI, Inc., a consulting firm focused on providing small and medium-sized business customers service and support on par with past engagements in the Fortune 500 world. He has been a consultant to WestLB Systems, developing a workstation and server build for the New York office to interface with its German and London teams. He also produced a standard Windows NT Workstation image for the Mount Sinai NYU Health System in New York, a diverse organization with various methods of connecting to the LAN. He has been Consultant/Senior NT Administrator, Sumitomo Bank Capital Markets; Consultant, Senior Project Manager, Credit Suisse First Boston, responsible for the rollout of the Investment Banking Business Unit to Global NT 4.0 System, providing engineering experience to adapt the standard corporate build to the needs of the business unit. He was Consultant, Senior Team Leader, Pfizer Inc. and Consultant, Team Leader, Hospital for Special Surgery.


Oren Kalb

Partner, Senior Systems Engineer

Oren Kalb began his career as a technical writer for American International Documentation Associates. He became a consultant at Lehman Brothers where he worked as a systems support technician responsible for supporting a mixed environment of Netware 3.x and Windows NT 3.51 servers. He became certified as a Microsoft Instructor in 1995 and went to work for a nationwide training facility where he was responsible for the delivery of Microsoft Windows NT 3.51 and 4.0 training. For the next several years, Oren alternated between real-world consulting projects at Wall Street firms and various training engagements.

Over the course of his career, Oren has developed large-scale workstation and server deployments for Credit Suisse First Boston as well as the development and construction of a multi-million dollar off-site disaster recovery solution for their Investment Banking department. He was responsible for all IT infrastructure at eleven North and South American branch offices for CSFB. He served as lead engineer responsible for deploying a Terminal Server/Citrix environment used by Credit Suisse First Boston employees worldwide. Since 1999 he has focused on designing and deploying Citrix installations of all sizes as well as working in-depth with Security and Firewall products from various vendors.

Oren is certified as a Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator, Citrix Certified Instructor, Microsoft Certified Systems' Engineer, Microsoft Certified Trainer, Checkpoint Certified Security Engineer, Checkpoint Certified Instructor as well as numerous other industry certifications.
